Hospice Month Activities

Marquette, MI- U.P. Home Health & Hospice and Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice are proud to announce the observance of National Hospice & Palliative Care Month throughout November. This is an opportunity to recognize the compassionate care provided by hospice and to raise awareness about the invaluable services they offer to patients and their families.

Hospice is a specialized form of care that focuses on enhancing the quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses. During Hospice Month your local hospices honor the dedication and support of our care teams, healthcare partners, and community, as well as the difference that hospice care makes in the lives of patients and their loved ones.

Throughout the month, we will be organizing several events and activities to engage our community and honor the individuals who provide hospice care. These activities will include:

  • Both agencies will kick off Hospice Month by honoring their hardworking teams with special luncheons and a social media campaign highlighting team members and the theme for National Hospice & Palliative Care Month: Courageous Conversations
  • Both agencies will also share inspiring stories from patients and their families who have experienced the benefits of hospice care.
  • U.P. Home Health & Hospice will feature their World of Angels Displays with 17 local business partners throughout the month of November. The educational displays will include a chance to win a Gratitude Basket. Visit:
