Located at the entrance to Presque Isle, the Hospice Memorial Garden is a tranquil and serene space that is designed to honor and remember individuals who have passed away while receiving care in Hospice. It also serves as a place of solace and reflection for their loved ones and our community.
The flowers in the garden add an element of beauty, but also provide a sense of renewal and hope, while the bench and stone structure provide a space for contemplation and reflection. The plaque serves as a reminder of the lives that were touched by Hospice and creates a sense of connection between the loved one and the garden.
The Hospice Serenity Garden provides a comforting space where loved ones, Hospice staff, and visitors can find solace, reflect on cherished memories, and pay tribute to those we loved and lost. It’s a reminder of the meaningful relationships formed within the Hospice community and offers a place of healing during times of grief.
The U.P. Hospice Foundation is proud to support this project and thanks to our amazing volunteers for their hard work maintaining this beautiful space.
