Most Hospice organizations depend on generous donations of time, money and compassionate care. As one of the first three Hospices to operate in the United States, U.P. Hospice is no exception. During our four decades of service, we have benefited from countless hours of volunteer service and contributions of financial support, unused medical supplies, and equipment. What does make our non-profit foundation unique, however, is that 100% of all donated monies go directly back to Hospice patients and their families. No donated funds ever go towards operating costs or other overhead.
Our Foundation Board of Directors is made up of community leaders who are dedicated to overseeing these funds and dispersing them to patients and families who deserve extra special treatment while confronting a terminal illness.
